Bayside Smash Repairs saved me in a difficult situation where my insurer deemed my car a repairable write off and I was going to be offered a very poor deal for my well looked after vehicle. If ever in an accident where you’re not at fault, these are the people to see! Everything was sorted out smoothly by Tony, George and their Legal team and I was thankfully not out of pocket. My car looks as good as new and even all my belongings that were trapped in the boot (due the damage being at the car’s rear) were put back in place with care upon collection. My partner had our brand new car hit whilst parked by an uninsured driver. We did not have a repairer in the area (and had not needed to use one for years regardless) so we were cautious when looking for someone near by. After reading some of the google reviews for BSR i thought “these guys look too good to be true…” But after giving Tony a call and going in to see him… i am so glad i did. Tony took care of absolutely everything. Talked through what to expect from the process. Made it very simple and got us in touch with their recovery team who contacted the at fault party and recouped costs directly from her. From what can sometimes be a pretty stressful time – Tony and the team made it so easy. Could not recommend Bayside Smash Repairs high enough. Excellent! Both Con and Tony are very easy to talk to, professional, and very helpful. I got scratched front bumper (right hand side) of my second-hand Mazda 3 fixed and I asked Tony to fix also left hand side of the bumper. Tony said he would do it for me (for free) and he did. The work done is excellent. I bought the car second hand, but it looked like new, or even better. They also cleaned and polished the car, and they done 120% job; I highly recommend this business! Long story here, but worth it.
I was booked in by my insurer to another unnamed smash repairer in the area. I popped in to get the car assessed only to be told I had to make a booking and to come back tomorrow.
Came back the next day and the assessment literally took 2 minutes, not sure why he couldn’t look over it then.
Then came the news that they only had one loan car and it was booked for over 6 weeks in advance and would be not available to me the next week. All up I was pretty peeved.
The same day I happened to be driving down Bay Rd and dropped in at BSR to explain to them what happened. Tony and the team were straight onto it. Explained everything I needed to do with the insurer, brand new loan car for as long as they had the car, and had the entire job done super quick.
They even fixed a panel that wasn’t covered by insurance, just because they’re like that.
Best customer service I’ve had in years. The 2 slabs I bought them to than them doesn’t go far enough to show how pleased I am with the service. This is how you win customers and keep them. I’ll never go anywhere else.
